NPQH Coach Role and Responsibilities

The Coach will provide ongoing support and challenge throughout the NPQH journey. You will provide one to one calls with each active candidate in your coaching group termly (terms 2, 4 & 6) with an agenda set by the candidate. Coaches will play a pivotal role in the review of the programme, feeding back to the Lead Facilitator any key issues and trends emerging from trainee Heads about the range of blended activities undertaken.

As a coach you will support trainee Heads by providing them with a total of three one-hour coach call sessions at regular intervals over the duration of the course, considering challenges for effective integration and application of leadership learning from the programme into the work place.

Coaching for leadership improvement will also provide opportunity to act as role models for candidates & help to build key behaviours into their own leadership. This role will also engage trainee heads in reflecting on their personal progress and identifying further development if required.

Your availability to hold coaching calls must be identified to candidates using the Scheduler Tool within Canvas. You will be responsible for reviewing new bookings for coach call sessions & confirming details with candidates. You will receive full training on how to effectively use the scheduler tool & monitor new bookings.

NPQEL Coach Role and Responsibilities

The Coach will provide ongoing support and challenge throughout the NPQEL journey. You will provide one to one calls with each active candidate in your coaching group termly with an agenda set by the candidate. Coaches will play a pivotal role in the review of the programme, feeding back to the Lead Facilitator any key issues and trends emerging from trainee Heads about the range of blended activities undertaken.

As a coach you will support NPQEL candidates by providing them with a total of six one hour coach call sessions at regular intervals over the duration of the course, considering challenges for effective integration and application of leadership learning from the programme into the work place. You will also provide three one hour calls with each peer group at regular intervals.

Coaching for leadership improvement will also provide opportunity to act as role models for candidates & help to build key behaviours into their own leadership. This role will also engage candidates in reflecting on their personal progress and identifying further development if required.
